Stop picking your skin
When you break out and have blemishes, your first instinct is to pick at them… but this will make them worse and spread the bacteria, so you’ll end up with more spots. Simply cover them with an acne patch to help them heal quicker.
Clean your makeup brushes
This should be done at least once a week. Give them a once-over using a face wipe and then just use a tiny blob of shampoo to really get them clean and sparkling. You’ll avoid spreading bacteria over your face in one fell swoop.
Wear sun cream every day
Even in the UK, the sun’s rays can be harmful to your skin so make sure you put on sun cream before leaving the house to keep your skin in good condition. Use a face cream that has it in it so you don’t even have to think about it.
Take your makeup off each night
This is the cardinal rule! No matter what you’ve been doing, never go to bed with your makeup on. If you really can’t get it together enough to wash your face, at least use a face wipe. Keep a pack in your bedside table to make it easy for yourself.
Drink more water
