Going into the jungle is a life-changing experience for the contestants of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. Not only do they have to endure terrifying trials and come face-to-face with their biggest fears, but they also have to shed their layers of make-up and reveal their true identity to the country.

More than ten million people regularly tune in to watch the reality TV show, which means there’s no hiding place for those brave enough to take part, as they are not allowed to take in the beauty products they have come to rely on in real life.

That’s why it’s no surprise the winner of its latest series Scarlett Moffat said she has become self-conscious since appearing on Channel 4 show Gogglebox.

“We live in a very appearance-oriented society and being on telly has made me more conscious of how I look,” she commented.

The 26-year-old star, who was crowned winner on Sunday night (December 4th), admitted she has had lip fillers and teeth veneers in the past, and is now considering a breast lift in her quest for perfection.

The George also said her ‘mam’ Betty is considering Botox “because a few people have said nasty things on Twitter”, adding: “But it’s nothing these days, is it? Everyone does it.”

Scarlett has also lost an incredible amount of weight this year, dropping from a size 16 to size 10 over the last few months. As well as being crowned Queen of the Jungle, she will end the year on a high by launching her fitness DVD entitled SuperSlim Me on Boxing Day.

Now that she has won the hearts of the nation, this exercise DVD is sure to be a hit with post-Christmas detox fans hoping to shed their festive weight.
