Living a healthy lifestyle is one of the best ways to fight the signs of ageing, so when you’re taking thread lift courses and similar make sure you remind your clients of this – or they’ll always be fighting a losing battle. A diet rich in vitamin C and drinking lots of water will certainly help to keep wrinkles and fine lines at bay – but what about adding bone broth to your weekly menu?
A few years ago, Hollywood actress Salma Hayek revealed that she’s a huge fan of this particular dietary option – and if it’s good enough for her, it’s certainly good enough for us. And there can be no denying that the 50-year-old looks incredible at the moment.
So what exactly is bone broth and how could it help you turn back the clock? The broth is simply made from the bones of a leg of lamb or beef joint, simmering them in water with a splash of apple cider vinegar (which is also supposed to be really good for you) in a bid to draw the minerals out. If you want, feel free to throw in some herbs and vegetables to make it taste a bit better. Once done, drink one to three cups a day.
Apparently, it’s supposed to improve the complexion because of the levels of natural collagen to be found in the mixture. It also has hyaluronic acid in it (which is found in bone cartilage) and as we all know, this is one of the best weapons to have in your arsenal to help fight the signs of ageing.
