We can offer Botox and dermal filler training courses to registered nursing associates worldwide. You must be registered with the NMC to practice in the UK. If you are travelling from abroad, we would ask for evidence of your registration when you enrol on the course. During the training course, you are covered under Derma Institute’s cosmetic indemnity insurance, and you can inject live patients under our supervision. You can take out your cosmetic indemnity insurance policy upon completing the course. We provide details of reputable insurers to all delegates.

Botulinum toxins are prescription-only and must be prescribed for the patient before they can be administered. Non-prescribers can buddy up with a dentist in their practice, find a local prescriber or use a prescriber service. A non-prescribing dental professional who completes the required training can administer Botox and dermal fillers without a prescriber present for the procedure.

We provide live cosmetic models for our training courses. We arrange all models to ensure you get lots of hands-on practical experience with real-life patients. If you have a friend or family member interested in having treatments during the training day, please let our team know, and we can help them book in as a model.

Yes, we offer ongoing aftercare support. After your aesthetic training course, you will be allocated a clinical mentor to contact for advice. You will also have ongoing access to our training presentations and step-by-step treatment videos. Our mentoring correspondence list will provide communication regarding new guidance, protocols, and aesthetic regulations. We also offer refresher, 121, and online training to further your skills and experience.
